Brittany Martin
President

Brittany is a stay at home mom and home school teacher to 3 living children. She is also the mother to 3 babies that passed in the womb. After a miscarriage and the stillbirth of Jaxon Kade, she and her husband Josh began to search for a way to make a difference for families who grieve the loss of their baby. They decided to create a foundation in Jaxon's honor that provides cooling units and bereavement resources to other families.

Alicia Strawn
Secretary/Accountant

Alicia lives in Yukon, Oklahoma with her husband and two children. Alicia found her place at The Jaxon Kade Foundation through experiencing the loss of her best friends' son Jaxon Kade. The helplessness of that day left her determined to be there for the Martins and any other family that has ever had to endure stillbirth. While she has not experienced a loss of her own, her compassion and dedication to supporting families and raising awareness are what helped us select her to be a part of our Board.

Barbara Beams
Family Support Director

Barbara is from Harrah. Mother of 4 from a previous marriage and mother of 2 with her husband, Randal. Their 1st son, Richard Colbert Beams, was born silently into the world on August 29, 2015. Barbara started talking with Brittany in a stillborn group and after sharing their stories they found out their husbands worked together. This was also her 1st time hearing about the Caring Cradles and she wanted to help get them into every hospital including dedicating one in memory of Richard, which happened in 2018. Her hope is for everyone to remember the babies no matter when the loss occurred and to help parents get thru the grieving process

Brooke Ward

Brooke is a Physical Therapist Assistant, Certified Athletic Trainer, and mother to 2 living children, Camden and Harper. Brooke became passionate about supporting other parents of loss after losing her twin son, Case. Brooke and husband, Chris, were able to use a caring cradle in hospital after having her twin boys, to have more time with Case. She hopes to help families talk about their grief and be able to assist with remembering those sweet babies.
